CO2 Neutral Websites
Brooks is a participant in the climate initiative "CO2 neutral websites". The carbon emissions from both the website and the users of the website have been neutralised by the building of new renewable energy sources, various CO2 reducing projects and by the purchase of certified CO2 offsets, which are cleared by the relevant government institutions.

Safe Disposal of Smoke Alarms
Photoelectric smoke alarms can be disposed of in any quantity in the normal household waste. Alternatively, they can be taken to your local Community Recycling Centre.
It is recommended up to 2 ionisation smoke alarms can be disposed of in household waste. If there are more than 2 ionisation smoke alarms to be disposed of at one time, they should be taken to your local Community Recycling Centre.
Smoke alarms used in commercial or industrial applications may not be suitable for disposal in domestic waste.
It is advisable to contact the Environment Protection Authority in your state for information on safe disposal.
